With the opening of the Mandarin Oriental Doha, Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group is bringing the group’s legendary hospitality into Qatar.
Located in the heart of Mshaireb in the heart of Doha, the Mandarin Oriental Doha is a warm and stylish urban hotel, a new leisure, lifestyle and business destination in the heart of this vibrant city. The hotel has spacious rooms, suites and serviced apartments, designed by the world-renowned David Collins Studios, combining elegant and modern design with the subtle elements of traditional Qatar.
The hotel’s 9 restaurants and bars offer unique cuisine from around the world as well as classic local flavours. The specialty restaurants include IZU, Mosaic, Mandarin Lounge, Baraha Lounge, Gelato and Ambar, which are hosted by Chef Izu Ani. The other three restaurants are scheduled to open in the second half of this year, including a Chinese restaurant, a cake shop and a top-floor open-air restaurant lounge.
To celebrate the opening, the hotel offers an inviting “Bloom Doha” package that offers a $100 Mandarin Oriental gift card for one night and a limited edition custom fan with natural pearl tassels.
It’s great to see Mandarin Oriental opens its fans to Doha, but I can’t help wondering whether the decision of opening this new hotel is to meet investment plans, I totally don’t too much demand to be satisfyed at the moment for Qatar at the moment.
You may be able to score a deluxe room at a nightly rate of around 160USD. If you choose to join Fans of Mandarin Oriental, their own loyalty program. You may be able to choose between a dozen different benefits.
