Recently, American Airlines’ grand opening at the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) Terminal D, the flagship lounge, will promote the further development of American Airlines at the airport. American Airlines’ superior Flagship First Class restaurant complements the luxurious ground experience. Following the addition of boarding gates and additional routes, American Airlines has introduced more options for travelers to relax.
Kurt Stache, senior vice president of the US aviation market, loyalty and sales, said: “American Airlines is wise to launch the Flagship experience at our largest hub. Today, more American airlines (passengers) travel through Dallas/Fort Worth Airport than any other airline. At the airport, we think they can feel the difference in the Flagship experience here.”
Travellers on the American Airlines Flagship First Class and Flagship Business Class can go to the Flagship to relax, enjoy, or work. This quiet retreat features comfortable seating, luxurious showers and ample wireless chargers, as well as a selection of hot and cold entrees, including Texas Beef Brisket with Adobo Sauce, Korean Chicken Wings, and Sushi. Visitors can also choose custom egg rolls and Asian pancakes at the rotary chef cooking station. Meals with premium wines, champagne and local craft beers.
Flagship First Dinning
The Flagship First Class Restaurant in the Flagship Lounge is a high-end sit-in experience for American Airlines for First Class travellers who enjoy a range of hors d’oeuvres, main courses and desserts for free. The Dallas/Fort Worth Airport Flagship restaurant menu features many Texas delicacies such as double-smoked beef breasts, slow-cooked pork knuckles, Texas walnut pie, and high-end wines selected by the sommelier Desmond Echavarrie, Cook Champagne, classics Cocktails and local craft beers.
American Airlines will also launch the vegetarian “Impossible Burger” as an alternative to its classic signature burger, offering more food choices for travelers. American Airlines will first launch a vegetarian diet at Dallas/Fort Worth Airport and plans to expand to other Flagship First Class restaurants later this year.
The American Airlines VIP Lounge – Admirals Club at Terminal D reopened after renovations, giving passengers a new modern feel and more power outlets, showers and relaxation spaces. Visitors can enjoy a variety of snacks, including hummus, vegetables, soups and classic homemade guacamole consoles, as well as free beer, wine and spirits. The Admirals Club also sells craft beers from Texas, Fort Worth and Houston’s local wineries.
In June of this year, American Airlines’ free wine list will also include the exclusive branded wine of the bartender Bobby Stuckey.
Full Flagship Experience
These initiatives are just the latest in the American airline’s investment of more than $200 million in a luxury travel experience. Recently, AA as world’s largest airline has opened Flagship lounges at JFK, Miami International Airport (MIA) and Chicago O’Hare International Airport (ORD), and launched exclusive First class dinning options at JFK, LAX and MIA airports.
